DoctorDoctor Service
- Bulk Billing Service for eligible medicare cardholders
When you need a GP after-hours for non-emergency matters, DoctorDoctor will arrange for a GP in your area to visit and treat you in the comfort of your own home.
DoctorDoctor has been providing medical care to patients after-hours for more than 50 years, and have an extensive network of general practitioners ready to provide primary care to patients.
All patients receive comprehensive primary care from qualified doctors. Details of the medical care and treatment provided after-hours are supplied back to your GP at The Community Doctor, so all your medical records remain in order for your GP to refer to, and where necessary, follow-up.
Can I Access This Service?
You can request an after hours doctor home visit if you are living in metropolitan Melbourne or if outside that area, and a patient of a subscribing GP clinic, such as The Community Doctor, you may be eligible for an after hours telehealth consultation.
If you don’t have a regular GP, DoctorDoctor may connect you with a General Practice for continuity of care. Of course, we at The Community Doctor would welcome you as a patient to receive continuity of care.
