Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) Pathology offer a quick and convenient specimen collection service onsite at The Community Doctor.
- All pathology referral request forms are accepted, irrespective of pathology provider, and no appointment is required.
- If, however, you don’t have a referral, you will need to see a GP to obtain a referral first.
- Turn around times for pathology test results differ depending on the test involved, but as a general guide, results are usually processed within 24-48 hours.
Kindly check in with your GP 24-48 hours after completing your pathology tests to see if a follow up appointment is required.

If you have a referral from your doctor for pathology, our experienced pathologists are available:
- Monday: 9:00am-1:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:00am-1:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am-1:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am-1:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am-1:00pm
Results & Follow Up Appointments
Kindly check in with your GP 24-48 hours after completing your pathology tests to see if a follow up appointment is required.
If you have opted-in for recall notifications via text you will receive a message from your GP if they would like you to book a non-urgent follow up appointment to discuss your results.
If results are urgent, the doctor or nurse will contact you immediately to organise a follow up appointment with your GP.
