Billing and Fees

The Community Doctor is a mixed-billing Medical Centre for all general consultations. An out-of-pocket fee may apply at time of consultation for all medical services not covered under Medicare. More information can be found in the Current Fee Schedule.

Bulk Billing services are available for Children under 16 & Concession/Pension Card Holders.

All Medicare rebates can be processed on the spot by our friendly reception staff at the time of your appointment. Medicare Rebates are processed to your nominated bank account, usually within 48 hours.

Please note that all patients will require a current Medicare Card to claim a rebate. For all patients who do not hold a valid Medicare card, the total cost of your appointment will be required to be paid in full before your consultation occurs.

Payment details are required to be provided when booking telehealth phone and video consultations to secure the appointment. If you are a concession or health card holder you will not be required to provide payment details when making a booking.
